We were invited to my daughter’s friend birthday party a couple months ago. As a courtesy I created some images for Jasmin as a present. There was an old mobile home in the backyard, it grabbed my attention. I loved the setting (old and rusty mobile home) and the special “Carlos treatment” I gave to these images.

For the trained eye, I does not matter if the place is pretty or not. A professional photographer will get the image right the first time.

Summer is here and the weather is nice and warm! Have you ever thought of having a family portrait taken at the beach or park?

Family Portrait Photographers

Photo sessions are done on afternoons about one hour before sunset, this means your photo session can be done any day of the week. Photo sessions are arranged at your schedule convenience. Kids, pregnancy, family portraits, and couples, are all welcome!

Carlos,

Just wanted to share my experiences with everyone who treasures pictures as I do. The first time I saw an album done by you, you literally took “my breath away”, it was a big WOW! My first thought was, “this photographer does know what he’s doing”.

One day, I finally had the courage to call your studio, or should I say a couple of hours before my daughter’s First Communion. This was the first session you did for us. Our intention was to only take pictures of my daughter. The session ended in a family session, which I really appreciate that it turned to be that way. We now, have GREAT and professional pictures taken by a VERY HIGHLY recommended photographer. And that is you…Carlos.

I have to thank you for the session that you just recently did for all my family. The pictures once again are fabulous. Once again you made me cry with these images that forever and ever will be in our homes and in our hearts.

I want to share with you and tell you that you took the first family picture of three generations. It will probably be the first and last time that I will be able to get us all together. I will eternally be thankful for this because you made it possible!!! We now have a FAMILY PICTURE!!!

I had planned to get a photograph for my blog and facebook page, so, I asked my daughter to photograph me for that purpose. Then I got a really great idea…what about if we have a family picture?
We drove to a beautiful location close to Santa Cruz, California. It was not a perfect day for pictures because it was a bit cold and cloudy. We got to our location and by then the dark clouds had gone away, leaving us with a beautiful sunny day.
I prepared my camera, tripod, flashes and all the vital accessories for a nice professional photo. After my Daughter took a couple of pictures of me, I took a few shots of her and some with her mom. Then she asked me if she could take some pictures and I said, ”Yes! Sure”. I grabbed my second flash and held it for her. My goal was to mix ambient light with my two flashes and get some more creative lighting.

I got surprised to see my daughter directing and looking for better angles… she is only 13 years old! She got some of the best photographs of my wife laying down on the ground!

Sesión fotográfica en los alrededores de Watsonville.

Entre los servicios que ofrece Carlos Garcia son los de retratos en estudio y en exteriores.
En esta sesión fue algo diferente, fuimos a varias locaciones con este vehículo, una Hammer. Primero comenzamos con algunas fotografías en el estudio y después nos salimos a manejar por la ciudad, deteniéndonos por algunos minutos en varias locaciones.

Al final de la sesion fuimos a el negocio llamado Romo Auto Sales localizado en el Auto Center Dr, en Watsonville. Ahí capture algunas imágenes de los exteriores y de esta Harley Davidson, nada mal. Verdad?
