]]> En el 2005, conocí a Hortencia y Luis, ellos vinieron a mi estudio a solicitar servicio para fotografía de compromiso pues su boda de ellos se aproximaba.. Fue una bonita experiencia puesto que la sesión se realizo en el bosque, en un lugar del Condado de Santa Cruz llamado Big Basin.


Fue muy agradable saber que después de varios años mis clientes regresan otra vez a solicitar mis servicios. En este caso, Hortencia y Luis han regresado para una sesión familiar y para obtener recuerdos de la graduación de Hortencia.

Cuando veo personas que he conocido en mi vida y que se han superado en su educación me llena de orgullo. Hortencia es graduada con su Master en Sociología en la Universidad de San José State.
Recientemente graduada con su PHD en Sociología en la Universidad de Texas en Austin (UT Austin).

Hortencia y familia ahora con una niña y un niño han venido para esa fotografía familiar que será el recuerdo de este momento de sus vidas plasmadas en imágenes creadas por Carlos García.

]]> Durante los años que tengo como fotógrafo profesional, he invertido gran parte de mi vida en educación.
En unas cuantas ocasiones he pensado:
¿En realidad vale la pena? ¿Al cliente le importa si estoy continuamente educándome en el ámbito fotográfico?
La pregunta viene por que me da la impresión algunas veces que eso de estudiar mas no es tan importante para algunos de mis clientes.
La primera pregunta que se me hace es:
¿Cuánto cuesta?.
Sin embargo me gustaría poder tener un poco de tiempo para platicar a cerca de ese dia tan especial para ellos, donde va a ser la ceremonia, en que lugar es la recepción, poder conocernos un poco mas y sobre todo poder mostrar mi trabajo fotográfico.
Poder saber de parte de ellos sus necesidades fotográficas o de video y captar durante esa platica el valor que se le puede dar a un trabajo fotográfico realizado con excelencia.
Me respondo yo mismo:
Carlos, no importa si es importante para el cliente que ellos sepan todo el trabajo y dedicación que sé a puesto en la educación fotográfica continua. Lo más importante es demostrar con hechos la excelencia de mi trabajo. Cuando un cliente dice “Wooaaoo” ese es mi pago por todo el esfuerzo.

Pasando a otra cosa: Estoy por terminar mi nueva pagina de Internet. Dentro de poco desaparecerá la pagina con el fondo negro, para dar paso a otra pagina que en mi parecer se mira mucho mejor.
